Last updated: April 22, 2026
Simple terms for using hddn.
By using hddn, you agree to these terms.
Use of the service
hddn is a tool that helps you remove sensitive data from PDF files directly in your browser.
You can use the service freely for personal or professional purposes.
You agree not to:
- use the service for illegal purposes
- attempt to reverse engineer or misuse the service
- interfere with how the service works
No guarantees
hddn helps identify and remove sensitive data, but it does not guarantee that all sensitive information will be detected.
You are responsible for reviewing your document before exporting and sharing it.
Your files never leave your device
This is the one thing we guarantee without reservation, and we take full responsibility for it: your PDF is opened and processed entirely inside your own browser, on your own computer. It is never uploaded to any server, never stored anywhere outside your device, and never seen by us or anyone else.
We never collect, store, transmit, or gain access to your files or the sensitive data inside them. There is no document-processing server that ever receives your file. You can confirm this yourself: disconnect from the internet and keep working — everything still runs.
Use at your own risk
You use hddn at your own risk.
We are not responsible for:
- missed sensitive data
- any consequences of sharing documents
- any loss or damage related to using the service
Service changes
The service may change, be updated, or be discontinued at any time without notice.
Privacy
Your use of the service is also governed by the Privacy page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Lithuania.
